Innovari Kicks Off Argentina Interactive Energy Project In Buenos Aires

AUSTIN, Texas, September 23, 2014 – Interactive energy platform developer, Innovari, announces its launch of an initial phase for a demand side management project in partnership with Punto Tigre Mall in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Innovari’s Interactive Energy Platform™ was recently deployed on-site at Punto Tigre Mall within the service territory of Edenor, the largest Argentine distributor of electricity. The platform will improve the site’s interaction with the power grid over energy efficiency and performance and  help  reliably integrate renewable and distributed energy resources.

“Working with Innovari on this initiative will support our commitment of excellence to better serve our customers while making the best use of our energy resources,” Adrián Simonotti, President and CEO of Galería El Yaguareté S.A., owner of Punto Tigre Mall said.

With peak time power demands and extreme weather conditions putting continued stress on the Argentine power grid, Innovari’s interactive energy platform will help Punto Tigre meet their reliability, financial, efficiency, and sustainability goals.

“We’re looking forward to serving Punto Tigre and Argentina’s grid to ensure long-term grid reliability and affordable power that meets their exact business needs, without impacting operations,” said Manuel Arancibia, Innovari President of Latin America.

Innovari’s interactive energy platform connects utilities, their customers, and their communities to improve how the world uses energy. Our solution attacks the electric grid’s core problem—the load duration curve—unlocking access to affordable capacity that improves system utilization, reliability, and financial performance, while our non-profit, Plugged into Kids, brings together utilities and their customers to help the children in their communities. With deep grid situational awareness, we enable dynamic, two-way verifiable demand side management; grid system optimization; renewable and distributed energy resources integration; and more.
